if AMD does go to the ATI-AMD combo then they really have to think of a really good reason for the majority intel proc users to switch...but its really hard to think of something that will require an exclusive ATI-AMD combo...hehehe

the problem with intel's tactics is that a lot of consumers are deprived of amd products which are really at par with intel's performance.

with price to performance ratio as a gauge, mas barato mo come out ang amd platform. thing is because of this manipulation by intel. distros, resellers, retailers are deprived of selling amd products.

Like the "spider" or "Dragon" Platform from AMD?

Its part of the process to regulate monopolistic companies, Since Intel was already too dominant. Its a good thing that the government would act so as to maintain the balance and competitiveness in the Industry. Lest if Intel would monopolize the processor industry they would be the sole dictator of the processor price.

Intels primary target is AMD and ATI two sitting ducks in 1 stone. Next is Nvidia. With Intels Larrabee graphics.
