I've been watching this since NatGeo showed episodes everyday. Sauna murag every Tuesday raman siguro ni I'm not sure.

    Kinsa tig tanaw ani?

Louy (aw, tanan man jd) au ang episode gabie kay mga 90% sa pasahero kay mga bata. It was a Russian airline. The students were to go to Barcelona Spain for a field trip. Ang airplane ila gisakyan had a mid-air collision with a DHL (courier company) airplane.

Tragic story. Mostly caused by ATC issues.

Uu gipatay jd. Pero it wasn't his fault as stated sa mga investigators. Pero that night nag maintenace check man sad gud tapos usa sa mga engineer or technician cut a phone line (my memory is a little vague nah..hehe).

The accident could still have been prevented even with the ATC foul-ups, but if only the following occured:

    1. The controller didn't instruct the Tupolev to descend - that was the most crucial decision. The DHL aircraft had already begun descent because its TCAS prompted it to descend, which meant that if the Tupolev pilots ignored the controller, then there wouldn't have been a collision.

    2. The Tupolev pilots should have obeyed TCAS like the DHL did - Their best choice was to climb because they were already in their descent profile. Logic dictates that if you're in an imminent collision, you have to believe that since you're descending, one obvious way to avoid the collision is to ascend. This is precisely what the ascending DHL plane did--they were ascending, and thus after TCAS warning, they descended.

Plane crash makes flying safer kung tarong ang pag investigate sa accident. Diri sa Pilipinas, usahay way klaro ang mga findings. Akong amiga namatay sa crash in 2005, until now inconclusive gihapon ang findings sa crash even though the wreckage was recovered intact.

New Air Crash Investigation episodes this June! Yippeeee!!!
