The problem with us Filipinos, is that majority of us are pessimistic in nature. Instead of being bullish and optimistic about our economy, many of us have turned into cynics that do not have any belief on the govt., that's why our perspective of our nation is bad.
I dont agree with you that we are way ahead of the other asean countries...and yes we are resilient its bcoz we are used to this kind of living; unlike our rich asean counterparts like Japan, Korea, Singapore..they are not used to this kinds of situation. BUT i do agree we are just so pessimistic in nature; but you can't blaimed the populace, contrary to what the govt has been saying about GDP, Economic Growth..blah..blah..blah...that has not been felt by the ordinary filipino.

public servants don't know how to manage the country and its people.
same with a ceo who doesn't know how to manage the company
end result, loss of revenue, bankruptcy.

Well what do you want? I think you're a supporter of Charter Change!
compare philippines with the rest of asia? The philippines is way better and you wanna know why? Observe other countries like know especially our SEA neighbors, what's happening to them? their economies are all down, more of their population are dragged down the poverty line and the worst is that some of these have already collapsed economies!

Now, try to look at our own economy. Yes I'll agree that we're growing slowly but at least we are still able to grow unlike our neighbors their starting to decline instead of growing.
