    Oh snap, I forgot...

    C) A pervert. Not just any pervert, but a pervert who gets turned on by rape.

Even if we were to say that the raping is ok, Rapelay's gameplay is still lame and messed up. *** games are fun. I laughed my ass off with San Andreas' Hot Coffee patch. In fact, some of Illusion's games aren't so bad really. But a game that gratifies rape? That's way out there.

Granted, you have every right to call me names. That's what most people here in iStorya are good at, anyways. Mga "morally upright" kuno. Ambot.

You say you laughed your ass off with the Hot Coffee patch, but do you think the thousand other parents who complained to (and sued) Rock Star were also laughing with you? Aber?

You guys have a case of "selective morality"--you decide what's moral and what's not, based on your common perspectives and backgrounds, and assume that the entire world will back you up. There were similar movements before in human history...one was called "The Inquisition" and the other one was called the "The Crusades"...Bravo.

    Again, an assumption.

(this one also goes out to diatabz, who probably mistakenly thought of it as well) Please where OH WHERE, did I say that I LOVVVVEDDD or ENJOYYYYEDD playing this game?

Let's see if the following account can help you visualize things better...

I own a wool jacket. I wore it once or twice, in really cold weather, but I never wore it again. I also own a pair of Merrell sneakers. After buying it last year, ma-ihap lang ang mga adlaw nga dili nako siya suo-ton--it's now tattered and well-worn due to constant, daily use. And yes, I love my Merrells.

Next time, please try to read carefully, rationally, as opposed to being carried away by your "morally upright" emotions. Try to be more like Spock.

Your argument is really, really flawed. Squeezing two sides of the coin as 1 side is a disaster. I do not get why are you mixing rapeplay's gameplay and morality of rape in japan at the same paragraphs.

I have been reading this thread since yesterday and rodsky wins the award. For most of the arguments here are flawed, stereotyped or is affected by culture shock.

well, assumption can sometimes be true.

whats the connection of your jacket and sneakers to a taboo rape game?

im not saying im morally upright but im trying to... for the benefit of our youth. maybe you might refrain from being Mr. always right.

and BTW, this is not about our religion for christ sake.

    @ Rodsky

Again, you have a habit of providing long-winded analogies that have absolutely nothing to do with this discussion. I was only trying to point out that I'm not prejudiced against *** themed games -even enjoying some of them- therefore giving an unbiased and objective view. Selective morality? I call it taste. I couldn't care less about morality.

You say you don't enjoy playing the game, why react in the first place?
