don't focus the blame on this ad only...

daghan kaau mga ad nga misleading sa mga bata...

    be broad people....

mas maau d na ninyu patan-awn ug dumb box
ang mga bata... better engage them
on hobbies and sports or music...

rather than exposing them to TV nga halos
    tanan programs ug ads misleading...

think on the bright side people...

if we blame tv (ads and shows) for dumbing down our kids, then we have ourselves to blame for letting kids watch tv without adult supervision.

yes, kids are smarter than we think, but with the variety of content they see on the tube, the differences between reality (news), fiction (telenovelas), and creative interpretation (remittance=LBC) can be blurred/mixed up/confusing even to adults.

action: watch tv with the kids. be prepared for their questions.

    unfortunately, advertising can be misleading.

    vigilance is good.

i know the ad wants to inject that if u mention "remittance", the first thing one will come to mind is LBC.

but somehow, it was done in bad taste by setting a spelling bee scenario. worse, a kid spelling bee. worse pa gyud is Edu saying "correct!".

but then again, we always know it is not correct. even a kid knows that.

Teacher: Class, have you seen that LBC commercial? How is the word "spell" used here? Okay let's explore the word. Open your dictionaries....

Else our children will just be limited to "Remittance is spelled R-E-M...."
Thing is, are all children who watch these commercials at a level they can fully understand when explained to them. Are their minds mature enough to comprehend the explanations. Dako kaayo ni implications since daghan bata nag tan-aw nga gasugod pa lang ug learn English(which is not our primary language) and dali kaayo sila i-mislead
