comparing Intel dual core with HT core isn't really a comparison its just an INTEL advertisement. The website only advertises Intels new dual core HT processor and not comparison.

for real comparison I think benchmarks should be the standard:

ya its also another form of AD but not commercially, it only promotes or Educate the idiots in a more freindly presentation, plus its not a hype only Benchmarks are the hype

people like us dont rely on web benchmarks, we test it our selves and experience it --> as wat mr beor said

thou AMD64 formats much faster than intel.. in fairness

hmmm..you can only tell that power consumptions and heat factors matter if you have 10-20 PC's running overtime..just like in an office/internet cafe set-up..picture this out:

more power hungry PCs means more power consumption....more heat means more load from the airconditioner that prompts the owner to install additional unit...suma total..additional CO$$$$T..

nothing can beat an efficient AMD system
In the offices I work with, we have 50+ computers and 30+ computers on each location.. and in our setting, productivity is computed over other expenses. In the end we save more "man hours" with P4's... convert it to money, we earn more than what we could have saved if we used AMD's. Nothings beats a properly computed setup / productivity...
