You must be confused between BB diameter and BB weight.

Standard airsoft BB's are ALWAYS 6mm in diameter.

The weights on the other hand are:

0.12 grams (very light, mapalid sa hangin, and easily shatter into pieces)

    0.20 grams (the most common)

    0.23 grams (rare)

0.25 grams (becoming the standard with some players)

    0.30 grams (for high-FPS, long-range AEG/GAS jungle games)

0.43 grams (usually mistaken for lead pellets, these graphite-coated BB's are designed only for Gas or Springer BASRs)

So, with your statement "most airsoft sniper prefer bigger and heavier bb...", perhaps you mean 0.43g BB's and NOT 4.5mm BB's. Nalibog ra tingali ka, kay klaro sad kaayo nga bigger ang 6mm sa 4.5mm diba?

i know sir, he said "MM", so it's obviously diameter, i just added the weight, it's not really an answer, just another opinion that most airsoft sniper tend to use heavier bb, thou some uses bigger ones...(if there is, i haven't seen one either) thou most use the heavier one!!, mao gani gibutangan nakog "AND" para manag lahi sila... i think you should point it out sa nag ask ani... dili sa ako im just mere adding an opinion... naa koy duha ka lughit i've already tried using heavier bb (i think it was .30 or .25 bato... limot nako basta dili to siya .20)... ok siya basta taas ug FPS unya atleast dako na ang chance nga dili na mapalid... thou ang CONS ani niya is nihit ug mahal sad... that's why i stick .20... thou bati siya kay mapalid gihapon... labi na kung kusog ang hangin (which is sa amo game site)..., i've used heavier bb on my CYMA M14 (stock somewhere in between 380 to 400 FPS) and MP001 AGM teflon sealed thou dili tight barrel at 400+ FPS

i not an airsoft addict or afficionado so my knowledge about airsoft is limited!, if you think MY OPINION is wrong... feel free to correct it.... besides it's a free world...

i used to have a maruzen type 96 rifle that fires .50 8mm bbs... but this was way way back 1999...
the rifle is still available now, but for static display only.. as the 8mm bbs are very very bloody rare and not to mention the rifle is broken on some parts and needs quite a repair..
