Giving space can heal a relationship?

Is giving space to a relationship can heal such relationship problem or it just give such a negative impact to the relationship...could space to each other can help or its a bad thing to do?.......

SITUATION 1:
you give each each other space, then later on, then the girl realizes that she loves you so much that she can't afford to let you go, so magbalik mo and try to fix things up in order for the relationship to survive.

SITUATION 2:
you give each each other space, then later on, she realizes that she's better off w/o you in her life, then she ditches you, regardless if it's for another person or not.

the reason i let you choose bro is because there are two ways to answer your question.

Now, if your going to ask next what your going to do, i suggest you try to talk w/ her and try to fix things, it's better than just letting time heal wounds, for one thing, your never certain that things will go your way, most of the time, it turns from bad to worst, and i'm pretty sure you can't live with that fact, i bet your going to say nga " mas maau pa ug ako g.try ug fix amo relationship dah" or something like that, at least, by trying to fix your relationship, your gaining control over the situation, and it would be a plus factor to her as well, since she's going to think that you really love her since your giving it your all just to save the relationship. so i say, to hell w/ "giving space" and letting time heal all wounds, coz it never does anything good for a relationship hanging in the balance.
