hey koto: not much into plexi for computers tho was thinking more a gun metal colored blued casing when i finally get to do the project
I thought the specific apple comercial in question was actually a cool marketing strategy to capture more PC user and since that is a business awsome job on their part i too cant understand the reason y peole have really bad violent reactions to something like that tho. think about it, if more people were using macs than PC then theyd have to change there slogan of think different:P hehehe
tolstoi: there is a pc that looks like the mac mini cant remember who made them tho I personally wouldnt want to have something that looked like that With the PC what you have is a choice with so much different looking PC's out there. With the mac, you dont have that if your a power user you only have the power mac if your a budget user you only have the mac mini if your in an office thats probably a good thing since everyone can look the same.

What are you guys smoking? Here the deal, Microsoft purchased $150 million in NON VOTING stock. Apple, at the time had over $5 BILLION dollars cash in the bank.

The money was more of a “goodwill gesture” to close the lid on the “look and feel” lawsuits Apple kept hammering MS along with a undisclosed amount paid. That was around 1997 the time Steve Jobs return to apple. Microsoft sold the stock 3 years later. As a third party developer, MS has a Mac buisness unit that makes office for Mac, but dnt own anything from apple today.
