In essence it's a LOVE STORY, and so was Shyamalan's previous film THE VILLAGE...... SIGNS was a sci-fi drama that had elements of suspense....
but as in Manoj's name being something that really sells any movie he puts out - it's usually marketed as a suspense thriller.
All I'm saying is LADY IN THE WATER will be a love story........ with a few scares along the way.

did any body watch the Documentary of M. night in HBO i think it was last october or september
if u seen this u know the movie, Somewhat an semi-autobiography of m. night
the documentary kinda like a hype but it sure is scary!~!!!!!

M. Night Shyamalan is a great storyteller/director. His movies has always been intriguing and interesting for me. I know a lot of critics call him a hack, which I don't agree. His stuff is far better than the usual crap Hollywood has been making these days.

OT: For those who wish to tread on the narrow path of literacy, a commercial for a movie is called a TRAILER.... not the homophone of the Michael Jackson album.the thriller's really catching. count us in.

He most probably will be in this one we can only wonder if it's a subtle appearance as in his last film or a more supporting character central to his story as in SIGNS.
