we can't say tarantulas are deadly, they only look deadly coz of they're size and coloration. i have 3 local T's that i have always handled them since the day i've caught them, since then i haven't been bitten well probably tomorrow, the next day i guess it wont matter... OBT's do tend to bite but as what my fellow CASians said, no records or what so ever died by tarantula bites well if you have crab allergis then dont bother holding one.. a thorough research will help you understand about tarantulas.
