guilliam, I just read your other thread regarding puppy sharing... . naka experience nami ug ilad.

One time ra mi nag puppy sharing and giilad pa gyud mi. wala mila gi inform that nanganak na ang dog. For 2 weeks, they wouldn't answer my calls. Good thing maayo ko mu research, I happened to get hold of the number of the gf of the guy. Nakuratan to siya how I found her number. Anyhow, hassle kaayo to sila because wala ni honor sa sabut. Kapila mi nag balik balik sa place nila. KINAHASULAN sa tanan, pirteng laayua pa gyud. Wa gyud sila na uwaw or nahadlok, to think we know where the guy lives and where they both work.

Kapila mi nag sabot, wala gyud nitunga. Kami pa gyud gi-away nila sa akuang husband (he's a very very nice guy, always calm and polite and then gi malditahan mi sa gf niya). When we finally got to see the litter, na shock mi because the pup was super thin and had some skin disease already (less than 1 month pa to edad sa pups). Amidst all our advices given to them, the guy didn't care for the pups. Gihatagan pa gyud ug powdered milk para kuno mutambok. No wonder nagka bad reaction ang itoy.

I was so disgusted sa attitude and lack of care sa welfare sa dogs. They don't deserve to breed dogs! Luoy gyud kaayo ang kahimtang. After seeing the pup like that, we decided to just settle with the stud fee na lang because hassle na kaayo to deal with them again once that pup is ready for pick-up. Know what happened? na delay na pud nila ang bayad for over a month. nangin-dian na pud kapila. It was a terrible experience. That's why dili na mi tingali musugot nga puppy share, not unless kaila namo ang mag pa stud. Wala man to sila nahadalok maski naay contract gipirmahan and naa pa gyud promisory note nga mubayad na lang sila ug stud fee.

Makaingon ko nga nailad gyud mi ato nila because they were super nice and friendly that's why we trusted them right away. Careful lang gyud ta tanan. Don't be fooled by a wolf in sheep's clothing.

mam, mao gyud na possible mahitabo anang puppy share gud. i mean the risk is there. mao na on the other thread about "Puppy Sharing Agreement - Philippine Setting" emphasize gyud na ang STUD owner sets the conditions. kay alkanse kaayo ang stud owner sa ing anang puppy sharing gud specially na dili kaayo nimo kaaila ang dam/bitch owner.

kon sa ako nahitabo nang ing-ana; for sure dili gyud nako pirmahan ang litter registration(if naa pcci/papers), then dili na nako hassolon ang akong kaaugalingon. total ang subject of the transaction naa bitaw na kinabuhi; too ko na masumbalik ra gihapon na sa ilaha ang ngil-ad nilang binuhatan. not worth my time and effort to consider to people like those character.

in case naa man gani PCCI/paper nya ako nahibaw-an nga na register using my stud; ahw kana hinoon dako nang gubot kay ngano man na register ang puppies without my signature. possibly naa falsification or forgery on my signature nahitabo ana. expect na lang for subpoena and date; and venue kay sa korte gyud mi sunod mag-kita pobre na tang pagka-taw nya pati ato signature gamiton pa gyud to gain. WALA pa hinoon ni nahitabo sa akoa personally; pero i know someone nahitabo ni sa iyaha nga wala siya ning pirma ug litter registration nya nagka PCCI/papel man hinoon ang puppies. wala man sad ning push tong akong kaila for a legal action.

sa pet section okay ra na mamili ang seller to whom he will re-home the puppies or the pet. since its the breeder's obligation to re-home puppies/dog/pets to responsible owners.

when it comes to dogs, dog breeding is never a good or profitable business. not unless it is a backyard breeder or "puppy mill".

once when i was shopping around for a GSD puppy; i opted to browse online on stocks in manila. daghan kaayo GSD pups didto that time compared to cebu or central visayas. after shooting inquiries to sellers and breeders; what cought my attention(aside from the pics of the puppy and bloodline) was; when i gave my contact info to the breeder(email address); gi sukit sukit sad gyud ko ug questions. are you married; do you have kids at home; is this your first time to own a GSD; are you going or have interest in showing the puppy on dog shows; whats your average annual income; if you have dogs, how many; since youre from cebu, do you have experience traveling a puppy from manila to cebu; etc.

IF I HAVE BEEN an inexperienced breeder or dog buyer; this will definitely irritate me. some questions are even considered personal(specially annual income). however; i was not. i would and in the same way also asks the same questions to the buyers of the products of my kennel. bottom line its with this breeder whom asked me almost the same questions i asks where i got my one of my gsd puppy.
why? because this is a breeder who doesnt mind about the profit he is getting from the sale of the pup. cellular phone calls to me, keeping updates, giving tips that i might not know. even after i got the puppy constant sms, email etc.

the same puppy from the breeder i mentioned grew up to be a titled SG1 GSD. very good temperament, very trainable. on the next batch just early this year(2009) the same sire and dam of the gsd that i got whelped with the repeat breeding. what is now the breeder's gain? on his ads; i always post testimonials about the elder batch of the repeat breeding. that the elder batch of the repeat breeding is a titled GSD. bottom line; ning balik ra man gihapon sa iya ang investment and prestige na it was from hi kennel asa nag gikan one of my titled dogs.

on your point nga: "sa everything else" well..
sa everything else section kon non-living or walay kinabuhi murag lain na nga seller dah. pero prerogative ra man gihapon na sa seller.

i had the same experience when i got my pug Janggo.. the owner was really shooting questions left and right, seeing to it that i am capable and competent to own her dog. the same questions - income, dog shows, how many dogs do we have, why pug? etc, etc.

i did not mind her asking... as along the way i was able to impress upon her that im a responsible dog owner... also, in the process, i got the impression that she is too!

a seller that doesnt care about the capabilities of his/her buyer, prior to the sale, is to me more scary. he/she might only into dog breeding purely for profits.

i love dogs and i have high respect to people who share the same passion as i have towards our fur friends.

these few, scrupulous individuals are giving this site a bad name.. nuon, gamay ra man na sila... but still, we should be very vigilant and alert sa ila mga agenda.

8 months gi sell adult kuno(as what he/she thought it is); a few days after i posted a reply dili na kuno niya baligya kay nag HEAT na kuno. so i hope im wrong in my assumption(based on the TS's statement) nga he/she will be keeping the 8 month old PUG puppy to breed or patakalan??

ahw hinoon prerogative sad na niya being the owner kon unsa iya plano; pero kalouy sad sa dam/bitch takalan nga puppy pa man intawn na(first heat to be specific or under one year old). hinoon siya raman sad mag bear sa consequences on a whelping immature dam with under developed body.

if someone can spare a time to send him/her a pm that his/her thread is cross posted here(on this thread); mamalihug na lang ko beh. let her/his side be heard gyud.

pero as fas as i read and re-read the thread he/she is keeping the 8month old pug kay nag heat na; bottom line on my understanding he/she wants to breed it for profit? hope im wrong in my contention.

Bro.....just an advice......i dont think its safe to sell here the Palawan Hill Mynah (gracula religiosa palawanensis) and Crested mynah (acridotheres cristatellus) for the very main reason that both species are endemic to the Philippines and strict regulations are present regarding the keeping especially the sale of these specimens, may they be the live animal or their derivatives. These philippine starlings are presently held under endangered status more so with the Hill mynah. You'll need a CWR (Certificate of Wildlife Registration) even for the keeping of a Hill mynah...the sale is still highly prohibited. Just a friendly advice from someone from the Wildlife Conservation Society of The Philippines (WCSP).....withdraw this thread.
