kani mga bro; Canon 500D or Nikon D90(I dont know if same category bani sila), asa ang mas maayo paliton ani?
entry level dslr sa canon have the poorest build quality no question about it
this is actually a misinformation.
it used to be like that around 5-6 years when they came out with the 300D v1 (silver, released around 2003) with its short shutter lifespan of 10k shutter actuations. however, the newer version of the 300D (black) came out with a sturdy shutter assembly that can go beyond 30k shutter actuations. and it just keeps getting better.
In general ALL new entry-level dslrs are not as robust as the mid-pro or pro cameras. these entry-level cameras were built for occassional photographers and hobbyists. Both the nikon and canon entrly-level cameras are pegged at 50k shutter life average but some have been reported to go beyond 50k.

para d OT: i prefer nikon.. it serves me well for the for the past 7 years.. eheheh ^_^
nikon and canon body or lens are expensive!
