    let's ressurect this thread

dined there last week. the staff is courteous but too courteous for my taste. why? they were so worried about displeasing the customer that they served the coffee, which my companion requested be served first, tepid. and i asked the lady-at-the-counter if the coffee in their menu was brewed coffee before ordering. and she said yes. so im wondering 'why is this brewed coffee tepid?'

by the way, she did ask my companion if okay ra ba daw nya nga i-serve na ang coffee nga dili pa kaayo init. (wala ko kaklaro ani while nagstorya sila kay gutom naman kaayo ko ato. gi-deadma ra man nako cla) nitando man pud akong kuyog kay mura na shock pud cya ngano niingon ang lady-at-the-counter nga dili pa kaayo init ang kape.

    hmmm...

perhaps it was brewed earlier in the day? unya giinit na lang? dugay pa jud kaayo muinit ilang thermos? nyaks!

sayop diay ako pangutana. perhaps i should've asked if it was 'freshly-brewed' coffee. tsk! tsk! dili ra ba barato ilang kape. and it tasted weird, too. mura ug guinomis. i wonder what kind of beans they used.

as for the food: we had the baconsilog and the fish fillet. i find it mahal gamay kay gamay man ang serving portions. although daghan kaayo ang rice. it tasted okay, too. as in "okay lang"

galaway gyud mi sa mga nagkaon sa ila puti kay perteng humuta sa pagkaon.

i've been there for almost every other day coz i find their adobo rice "super yummy" , my ofcmates had lechon kawali and grilled pork yummy pod, lahi kaayo sa uban lechon kawali their grilled pork is lyk cheaverz but more spicy and breakfast club, their tocino's good and their chorizo rice is good too, and their service is quite okay. all in all breakfast club is far better than any tapsilog this city have. oh and by the way, they also have pizza, the flavor we luv is hawaiian and formaggio, murag yellow cab pero barato lang its i think 120.oo hawaiian the formaggio's 185 but they told me if i order 300 i will have 1 free 1.5 liter of coke or sprite they deliver too... i'm just impress with their adobo rice kay wa gyud ko nakatilaw og ingon ana ka lami nga adobo rice, but guys, if you can handle detox every 15 mins. with oily discharge from ur popo - try their marlin (tinola, fried or grill) but i won't recommend it kay samokan ko sa iya discharge.

i've been to ila puti too - one the thing that strike me is their serving on rice, it's really pleny but the food is such a small portion. their salpicao and stroganoff thought beef dle d ai. okay lang man sad nuon ila taste. im a frugal person so i go for 1st - low price (barato); 2nd - good food (lami); 3rd - good serving (daghan og makabusog); and 4th - fastfood (dali), ila puti has expensive prices but have ordinary food so i don't usually go there. but between chowa and ila, mas lamian ko sa ila puti though.

but guys, taste are subjective, let's always remember we make our comments not out of biases (otherwise we won't be effective consumer) but for these businesses to improve and develop more products for a healthy competition. thank you
