Good point there mate. Lotsa blokes here don't even understand what airsoft is. For them it's just a game of "go shoot and kill them all", even others with a different reason for a lame excuse of execersice, stress whatever, and so forth..

if you want stress relief, go to a spa or massage, even sleep...
if you want exercise, go jog or hit the gym...
if you want camaraderie, try adventure racing...
if you dont know what the essence of airsoft is, then look it up first before you join in.

AIRSOFT is not a "race". Its not a marathon, or as i would like to put it, a "deathmatch biathlon". Where you go bloody shoot yourself out while doing a footrace. Airsoft is definitely not "track and field"

AIRSOFT is about discipline, intelligence, endurance, tactics, strategy, patience, perseverance, and right down simulation. More brains, less brawns..

I'll compare it to a bit more complicated chess game.. Not snakes and ladders..

btw, can you take off the word "airsoft" or "special" or "forces" or whatever military words? Sounds too stereotypical, usual, common..

Try unique names that is asynonymous to istorya (what we do here, what makes istoryans istoryans) and yet catchy, but not reffering to anything military..

DDD or Dark Wing Ducks of Tacloban City, Omega Red of Ormoc City, Snowplow of Christchurch, NZ and Tombstone Club of Hobart, Aus. are all an airsoft teams.. Their name's catchy, but yet you won't find anything "airsoft" in their name..

mao jud...mao gani i started a ten man team for the meantime so the knowledgeable people jd ang mag.una og tukod sa team...and this is a special regiment which aims in voluntary service to help so i wouldnt want people who just want to brag to get into the team...i need responsible, dedicated and skilled people..

by the way sir rodsky, i had a word with sir herp already...he said he wanna try to be in the team considering the so called conflicts that a few teams out there currently have...im taking him in...i think we should try to resolve these conflicts because it destroys the essence of the game...let's bring this team to life and promote peace..

I know you all want a team name asap, but that's not as important as figuring out the schedules and availabilities of the people listed down so far. Because if we can't meet up, then this would be a futile effort.

So I will start off...

For now, I'm available Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings ONLY.

Before we can play, we first need to have an introductory gathering/meeting for the following purposes:

1. mag ila-ila sa, ask about backgrounds, how long we've been playing, what sort of playing styles have we tried out or regularly play, what AEG units do we use regularly, etc.

2. to determine our locations (i.e. where do we live in Cebu City), para we would know how easy or difficult it is to gather ourselves together (i.e. meeting/muster points, assembly areas)

3. to know if we have access to certain gamesites (i.e. basin one of us knows a good site nga open to all, or maybe someone knows where we can find a suitable vacant lot or area in the boonies/bukid where we can play and/or design a gamesite, etc.).

4. Resources (i.e. transportation, access, registration/checkpoint issues etc.)

You can add more to this list.
