I have my roots from Bantayan.. But i can definitely say that Camotes i better for me when it comes to the sights and place to travel and visit on a shoestring budget.. Trully a mysteriously beautiful place..

Matter of fact, i just got back from my weekend backpacking trip there.. And with my 4k budget, i've got to:
-visit santiago bay beach
-stay at mangodlong resort
-toured the whole camotes isl.
-visit bukilat cave resort
-visit boho cave resort
-visit guadalupe cave
-visit busay falls
-visit a few old relic houses along the way
-gone fishing in lake danao
-got to spend overnight at the snake isl. in lake danao..

That includes the meals, board/lodging, transportation costs, roundtrip fare (bus/boat). All for 3days / 2nights worth of fun, travel, tours sightseeing, eating & relaxation...

camotes, you'll have the best of both worlds... a mysterious freshwater lake (with a little island in it) and powder fine sand beaches...

50 ang non aircon na bus to HAGNAYA, 85 ang aircon from north bus terminal...

135 ang barge to STA. FE (bantayan); 180 ang Fast craft to sta. fe pod.. barge 1hour; fastcraft 30mins.

sa bujong resort, 1200 - 1500 ang room overnyt..


so ikaw na lang diskarte sa food if magdala ba mu daan or adto mo palit sa merkado nila.. :mrgreen:

Php 1870 (sa non aircon bus, barge and overnyt na tig 1500) gasto sa kamung duha na ni ah! one day
Php2030 (sa aircon bus; fastcraft and overnyt na tig 1500) gasto kamu duha gihapon! one day

mas cheaper gyud diay ang bantayan? nindot ni pagka kwentada dah.. heheheheh..
