Need advice which is best Intel 630 (3.0) 2mb HT LGA775 or Athlon 64 3200+(S939)

Mga bros, I,m planning to buy a set of computer for home use only but still comfused on this two great processors....

Could somebody advice me which is best of this two as well as its issue... I need to buy urgent no problem with the budget but my concern is the long term use.....

Bigger doesn't always mean better.
Both chips he mentioned are fine for the average everyday PC task. So it really comes down as to what the system really is for.

If it's more catered for gaming, then bechmarks from different sites has proven that the Athlon 64 excels in this department. AMDs are bit cheaper too, and run cooler.

However, is he's gonna do audio/video encoding, CAD, graphic manipulation, heavy multitasking etc... Intel usually gets the vote on this one.

stay away from intel 820-840 cpu, we have 1 here in the office and its burning hot, maski aircon dire.

sa office sa akong migo ilang LG775 nga 3.06 kay grabi ka init. it has a coolermaster heatsink na ( forgot the name basta ka2ng dako kaayo nga naay heat pipes ) then naka aircoon pa fullblast. ang temp mo abot pang 58c
