really? a couple of my guy friends wear them a lot and have not had any problems. what color/style does your friend have?

obviously, the reason myt b s, cheaper man gud cia. nya' ma.afford ra kau mao nga most of ur frnds wear that. come to think of this, if brands like billabong and quiksilver are at a cheaper price, well, there wud b no reason y ur frnds will not sport those stuff.
and bout d quality of blood red. based on my frnd's exprnce, its still not that durable as wat he expect it to be. still has a long way to go pajud. kani gong mga brands like quiksilver and billabong, nangaraan na tawn ni cla og himo'g boardshorts. mao ni mga pioneers aning klaseha sa shorts. mao ng u cant just get them out of the scene and replace it w/ some newbie, locally made boardshorts.

FYI, im not selling brandnew bs. that's y d price of my items are cheap and
then u mistakenly compared it to the price of ur blood red.
brandnew bbong boardies costs more. if you'v bn 2 rustans ayala, for example,
bbong bs costs at about 3k.
think of this, blood red is designd in cebu.
and there are no spots here in cebu where u can find waves.
so if there are no waves, unsa my ilang basihanan nga ng.himu'2 cla'g
boardshorts? how can their bs b tested if thats d case
well, that's simple logic there.
unlike dd2 sa australia, hawaii, etc. where dd2 ng.originate ning surf2
and the likes, naa jud sila'y basis nganu ng.himu' cla'g bs.
ky sympre, dd2 gud ka kita'g waves nga wud definitely test those kinds of
apparels.

and about my frnd's case, i dnt force you to blv wat iv sed.
bsta ako, nka.dungog ko's testimonial sa akong
migu. and mutuo jud ko niya ky skimboarder man 2 cia.
so mas mka.kompara jud cia sa quality sa mga bs nga iyang
nasuwayan. and as told by his exprnce, sadly he dont recommend blood red.

and board shorts are not exclusively for surfing, or some of the guys in this thread won't be buying them in the first place =o) and wearing them to work =o)

i totally agree with meowa. i have 2 BLOOD RED boardshorts and i use them for scuba diving. the quality is superb and it is worth your money. If you would compare brands like billabong, quicksilver with blood red and take out the labels, you wouldn't know which is which because they are at par.

and your friend should contact BLOOD RED coz I'm sure they will accommodate all his concerns if he has truly one.

personally, i highly recommend in getting BLOOD RED products especially boardies. =D
