Yep im also reffering to what you said not all AM3 sockets support ddr3. I really don't think so. The only difference bet. AM2+ and Am3 sockets are memory type support.
with Asus its actually be an am2+ mobo But it supports AM3 procs.
I agree with you that asus is am2+.
