"if u have a creative idea its more than beutiful, but i guess mac users have limitations to be creative."
Subtle name calling eh? Show me and compare it to the mac. My creativity is reserve for doing work.

Macs maybe great for graphics artist but as a 3d artist/animator i PREFER pc rather than max. i'm a 3ds max user and since autodesk bought alias maya (which is for mac), i dont really give a RATS ASS too about mac now. i woudnt even try to invest in a G5 let alone final cut pro. a g5 for 130T!! and final cut for 80+T!! and in case your wondering if i have a licensed version of max, go figure. comparing a 75T pc and a 130T mac, i can get more processing power by network rendering or pseudo-network rendering numerous pcs than mac. and i dont need fiber optics for my network since 3d animation doesnt deal with rendering in seconds like video editors do. we render in sequenced individual frames so we dont deal with issues of dropped frames. so as far as pcs and macs go in 3d animation, pc is still king of the hill no matter how hard the apple tries to roll on top of it.
I just saw the ad with my own eyes.. typical Apple ad... Clean and slick looking.. I'm both a Windows and a Mac user and in no way was offended by the ad but I felt a little bit intimidated. What I think is it's a little insulting to the part of PC manufacturers and especially Intel themselves who feel that their customers (HP,Dell, etc..) are making dull little boxex carrying their logo..
Intel wouldn't want to alienate their former and present customers by patronizing their new customer and then let that new customer actually brag about how Intel was imprisoned inside PCs.. I don't know if you get my point.. but this is a typical Apple advertisement. As both a Mac and Windows user I've become used to those ads.. (especially those pertaining to power pcs long time ago..)
Dutifully performing dull little tasks.. what are those tasks? aren't those tasks the same as what I'd be doing in a Mac? Actually, I do the same tasks in both my Mac and my PC minus the gaming which is exclusively on my PC (save for war3 and ut2k3 which i often play in my mac) For the part of the modders, I'm not actually a modder but I've done some modding.. but I can't actually speak for the modders out there, I don't feel insulted actually..
I find it funny that you made it a point in posting something thats a bit out of topic. Im just trying to have a differnt point of view put here( as a PC and Mac user), cuz i just dont understand some nasty and hate filled comment people have about Macs. It is not for everyone that is a fact, most speacially games, and yes Autodesk users particularly.Originally Posted by gemcadz

@Zerone_null
I apologise for that useless rant. Had a bit too much to drink the night before.

Anyway, I've seen the ad myself guys and what else is new really? Call it mocking, call it strategic advertising... but Apple has done this for years.
Hardwarewise: Before switching to Intel, they have always taunted how faster and more efficient their Motorola/IBM chips are.
Softwarewise: They have run so many ads before bout how easy it is to use the MacOS than Windows. They even also had ads bout how happy people were after ditching their Wintel PCs to a new shinny iMac.
So...is this form of Advertisement is one of the dumbest Apple has ever done? Well I wouldn't call it dumb if it works for them. Just getting old really. Can't they come up with something new for their ad campaign without having to compare? THINK DIFFERENT Apple. No need to differentiate.
Do I find the ad insulting? No. We know better guys. Peace![]()
ummm..maybe Apple speak the truth![]()
are PC design will ever get this close?

Thanks for all your replies guys, it did help me answer some questions.
Now I know that this has been the advertising slogan, theme, approach of Apple for a long time.
And as far as I have used Apple machines, I like it BUT not need nor want it. (as of now) Maybe the Ipod.
Ing.ana jud na ang style of ad sa apple. Nothing new.

suggest ko lang much better if u go for ipod photo not the video
why? the ipod video is also great but ull be disappionted on the way the video play and batterylife
the video can only play 1:45hr/min but the mp3 last long, and FF the video takes a lot of time, plus if u dont finish the video it will eat up a memory space making it laggy when u skip ur next movies
for now the ipod video is not yet perfect but it is bang for the back for a multimedia gadget on the go
its up2 u..
