Actually, anyone can do something about it. For instance, I can post here, and by posting accounts from experiences here, someone out there who is willing to listen, from example and from experience, can hopefully learn. This doesn't necessarily mean what I say is right--the beauty of discussion is that, the reader/listener can then gather all the cards laid out on the table (the cards symbolizing our ideas, based on things we've read, or real life experiences we've had), and make his or her own judgment based on the cards he sees. What we're all trying to do here is we're all trying to make sure it's our cards the reader sees, and picks up.

And this act, of pushing around our cards, on this imaginary table, is called "discussion" or "argumentation".

All I am therefore trying to do, is to make my cards be "seen better" by the reader. And all you have to do is to push you cards around as well, in the hope that the reader also picks yours up, instead of mine.

Thing is, young people are easily misled, and most often than not, misinterpret an act, to mean something else. So, that's my concern, and why I am against it.

agree pod ko ani. based on the articles title, it gives a twisted sense of "glamour" to those who think hacking is something "cool" or "astig". Like I said, in my opinion, if this resolution gets approved/passed or whatever, it just glorifies a criminal act, in the eyes of the youth.

education and proper guidance is the only the best solution i have in mind in this kind of problem. hehe

naay usa ka organization sa information security. although its all about hacking but its ethical. ang objective is how to secure

ang article lang cguro dapat ta mo react, dili sa infosec

Point taken, Sir Rods. Eventually, COMELEC will open the system to IT Experts and not to the mere public to deter them in having a kind of mindset that hacking is "cool" and that hacking is for money.
