    Philcite was not done by the Local Ground producers. The Local Ground producers were the only guys during that time that made the effort to market the concert in a big way. There was even a parade a few days before the concert...teasers sa FM radio and promotions galore.....t-shirts, even tv spots, Dennis C and Alan D did an awesome job promoting the concert.

    did i mention local ground? the thread is about the history of cebu music, & philcite was part of the history of the cebu music scene.

    If you want to go really go back...how bout those big concerts in Cebu Coliseum?...when Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Scorpions, Uriah Heep, Nazareth, Deep Purple, Rainbow ruled the FM and AM stations.... fronting were bands like Mother Goose (Led Zeppelin of Cebu) and Iron Smoke.

    i saw irone smoke kausa sa gaw, hapit pa ko wa pasudla kay underage pa.

    Ang El Chikano ka dungan dungan na sa iron smoke .. naa pa sila karon pero dili na ang original na membro. dili pud kaau aktibo sila.. classic rock ug retro ilang tirada japun. Ang firelights murag mao na ang karaan na existing japun hangtod karon.

    i was 15 then when i once a fan of iron smoke at Gaw colon.

    pero kung showband ang hisgutan walay makalupig hangtod karon sa firelights band.

    akong nahibaw an na maka delalye about ani local ground bands na istoryan si Desertfox kay hangtod karon A2Z gihapon na siya karon naa gihapon ilang banda hangtod karon ug actibo. ang Cebu Music Factory CMF mao ni ang collaboration sa local ground bands. murag part japun si desertfox ani . kato ni mga banggiitan na band member sa local ground sa una ( like btu, abyss,a2z, the ire, sorry sa uban band na part ani wala nako na mention kalimot ko) ... keep cebu music going.. support ta to make it big......
