i hope the NBA would return the rules of the 80's and the early 90's about the handchecking and the defensive three seconds rule because there are so many best players now unlike the last 2 decades the best players would stand out of the great players.
some players now are over rated! specially wingman could easily penitrate to the basket and with the NO handchecking rule applied to the defender, the offensive player is untouchable and the defensive player is like a post, he can follow the offensive player but he can put his hands on him. another thing about the defensive three seconds, during the 80 and jordan era, the defending teams can defend inside the painted area whenever they like, not like now that defensive teams can't put their players beyond 3 seconds on the painted area or else violation and a bonus free throw, fresh shot clock and ball position which is very painful for the defensive team.
i hope this rules would be uplifted and return its older rules so that offensive players can no longer penetrate easily towards the basket and the game could be more physical. much better basketball!
