You can only share your own internet connection with people within your Local Area Network, whether wired or wireless.

If you have Cable Internet, then you're sharing the bandwidth with others in your neighborhood or barangay; it's basically a LAN but in a much wider area. So even if the connection to the switching station is 100Mbps, but have 100 people subscribers in that area then in theory you're only getting 1Mbps. But in reality, people download lots of data, VoIP, Movies, Music, etc. So your speed would be way much less. You also have to consider the quality of the cables going to and from the switching station. Older cables are susceptible to interference therefore degrade the signal quality. Also cable internet speeds fluctuate a lot throughout the day, while DSL speed is constant since you have unshared connection to the switching station.

Yup it's a cable-internet package in toledo, sorry for the 100Mbps, its actually 1Mbps, pero hinay kayo, paspas pa man siguro dial-up ani, ako gi ignan na ipa check nila kung sakto ba ang connection and everything else. Wala pa ko feedback as of now.

Is there a way para mahibawan kung gi share ang connection?
