Kabanata 22: Si Pirena at Danaya sa Hera Andal

Hera Andal:
Pirena and Danaya were taken to their room. Danaya said to the etherian soldier that they are not “alipin� but Pirena stopped her before she can finish her statement. Danaya saw the diwatas’ state in Hera Andal. She’s sad because she saw that they treated all the diwata as�alipin�.

A place in Encantadia:
Aquil is training himself to handle a sword when Ybrahim saw him. Ybrahim asked him on why does he want to learn to use sword. Aquil replied that he wanted to protect his father when those etherian return. He asked Ybrahim to teach him but Ybrahim refused.

Hera Andal:
Mine-a didn’t go thru with her plans. She asked for Victu should not tell Queen Avria about Prince Raquim and Prince Hagorn. Mine-a said that she will be the one to punish those two.

A place in Encantadia:
Aquil plead for Ybrahim to teach him. Ybrahim said that when Amarro find that out, Amarro will be angry. Aquil promised not to tell her father about it. Then Ybrahim decided to teach him.

Hera Andal:
Gurna told Mine-a that Victu should tell Avria about Prince Raquim and Prince Hagorn. Mine-a said that Prince Raquim should not be in danger because he is the one that she saw in the brook of truth. He is the man she loves.


Hera Sensa:
Andora came. Barkus asked Andora on where did she went to. Andora said that she went to Hera Andal. Barkus told her that Memen has a mistress. He said that when Avria will be dethrone, the next ruler will be chosen from the three of them (he, Cilatus, and Ansa). Barkus asked Andora if he will be chosen to be the next ruler, who among Animus and Andora will be his successor. Andora replied that since their mother gave birth to Animus a few seconds before her, Animus will be their father’s successor. But Barkus said that he will have no successor because when an etherian gave birth to a twin, they believe it to be a curse. Andora then said bitterly that he should have killed them when they are born. Barkus said that it is better this way so that they will feel that their presence is worthless.



Hera Andal:
Danaya remembered Ynang Reyna. Mine-a saw her and asked why she is crying. Danaya replied that she remembered her mother. She said that her mother and father were in Devas now. Mine-a said that Danaya should stop crying and promise to take care of them. Danaya told her that she has two more sisters namely Amihan and Alena.

A place in Encantadia:
Amihan and Alena halted. Alena and Amihan are captured by Odessa.


Hera Andal:
mine-a said that the names of Danya’s sisters are beautiful. Mine-a asked for Danaya’s name. Danya said her name and Pirena’s too. Mine-a promised that she will ask those soldiers to look for Amihan and Alena.

Adjantao:
Memen remembered Mine-a. He said that if he is not that coward to face Avria then he will get Mine-a. he said that half of his blood is the blood of a diwata and the other half is the blood of a heran but he is embracing the diwata blood more.


Hera Aega:
Asnan is reading a letter from Hera Andal that is all about Memen and Ornia. The letter also said that they will have a meeting. She said that diwata can give birth in just 1 or 2 days tops. And she is still waiting for Odessa to return.

Adjantao:
Odessa came to Adjantao with Amihan and Alena. She had a deal with an adjantao that in exchange for the two they should give her gold. The adjantao was hesistant at first but agreed eventually.

Hera Andal:
The council began to take place. Barkus said that Evades helped Ornia and Memen because Ornia’s child will be the queen of Encantadia as stated in the prophecy. Avria asked about Mine-a. barkus said that Mine-a will be queen too. Cilatus said that Avria should act fast. Avria called a phoenix to search for Ornia.


Hera Andal:
Danaya told her that the quenn’s daughter is so kind. But Pirena told her not to believe everything. That their mission is to destroy the golden hourglass.


Pirena: “Kaaway ang mga etherian Danaya, lalo na ang reyna at ang kanyang anak. Kaya kung sakaling makabalik sina Amihan dito at kung sakaling makakabalik pa tayo sa dati nating anyo, SILA ang una nating papaslangin!� (“The etherians are our enemies Danaya, especially the queen and her daughter. So when Amihan and Alena return and when we are back to our usual self, THEY will be our first target!�)


Abangan Bukas:

--> Victu said to Raquim and Hagorn thathe knew who killed the etherian soldier. That they should tell them to be careful for the etherians are watching.

--> Ornia is giving birth to Cassiopeia.

--> Memen and ornia will leave Adjantao but Memen is hurt by an arrow.

--> Amihan and Alena are captured by 2 etherian soldiers.

Kabanata 23: Hera Mine-a
(Episode 23: Princess Mine-a)

Hera Andal Palace

Mine-a and Gurna are walking away from a set of guards set at an entrance to the royal palace.

Mine-a: “Gurna, nasaan ang kabilan at ang aking kasootang pang alipin?�
(Gurna, where is the Kabilan and my slaves rags?)

Gurna: “Nasa iyong silid, sa ilalim ng iyong kama, bakit?�
(In your room, under your bed, why?)

So Mine-a tells her close aid and friend that her mother has ordered that Ornia and her unborn child be hunted down.Â* She then informs her that she intends to be the first to find them.Â* So she asks Gurna to follow her to her room so that she may get ready to begin the search.Â* But just as they are about to head to the princess’ chambers they come across a set of guards.

The guard addresses the princess and asks what task the princess has for them.Â* She orders the guard to seek out two young diwatas named Amihan and Alena.Â* She also tells the guards that the two are the siblings of the two other children serving at the palace and that she wishes to know where they may be found. When the guards leave Gurna asks the princess why she has asked the guards to search for the children.Â* The princess then informs the lady in waiting that she feels sorry for the children.Â* This is the reason why she wishes for them to be reunited.

Hera Andal Garden

Young Danaya is telling her sister that she agrees that the queen needs to perish because she is petty and cruel.Â* But she asks Pirena to leave the queens daughter out of their plans because she has aided them greatly.Â* But Pirena is as direct to the point as usual; She informs her youngest sibling that she should not find herself indebted to an enemy.Â* But the youngest sang’gre is quick to tell her sister that she unlike her sister is not stone hearted, and that she does not agree with what Pirena intends on doing.

Once more Pirena tries to knock some sense into her young sister.Â* She tells her that they are not in Etheria to get to know the queens daughter.Â* They are there on a mission to save the future and their niece Cassandra.Â* So tells Danaya to remember that the princess is their foe, the entire Etherian race is their enemy.

Pirena: “Kaya kung kinkailanga, kung hinihingi ng pagkakataon, hindi tayo dapat magdalawang isip na paslangin ang anak ng reyna�
(So if its needed, if it’s fated then we shouldn’t give a second thought to killing the queen’s daughter)

Adjantao Village

The leader of the Adjantao’s is emerging from his tent carrying a pouch of gold.Â* He hands it to a waiting Odessa who immediately opens the pouch and inspects its contents.Â* She thanks the man before her for the gold.Â* But he becomes curious at what purpose a member of the royalty would need gold.

Odessa then tells the man of her exile from her tribe.Â* Her need for gold is a need for survival, she intends to use it to survive and search for the sapirian that she found in the forest.Â* A sapirian?Â* This only intrigues the adjantao leader even more.Â* What sapirian is she referring to, but he does receive an answer from the exiled beauty.Â* Instead she merely glances over her shoulder at the girls being carried by two adjantao warrior. (one of which looks like he’s ready to drop the child)Â* Odessa leaves the children in their care and asks them to ask the girl for their forgiveness for what she has done.

When the Etherian leaves another adjantao approaches his leader.Â* There is a line of concern visible on his face.Â* Could it be possible that she suspects that Ornia and Memen are hiding in that very village?Â* But his leader is confident that this is not the case because he did not detect any hint of suspicion on the young heran’s beautiful face.

Hera Andal Palace

Pirena carrying a small white parcel is snooping around the palace.Â* As she rounds a corridor she notices the approach of a group of soldiers.Â* So she immediately hides behind a pillar to escape detection.Â* After the guards pass the area she emerges from her hiding and continues on her little scouting run, when all of a sudden she hears someone shout from behind.

Gurna: “Sheda, Sino Ka?�
(Halt, who are you?)

Pirena: “Nandito ako para maglinis ng silid�
(I’m here to clean the room)

Gurna then supposes that this child is probably one of the two children that her princess was talking about earlier.Â* So she asks the young girl for her name, so Pirena gives her name.Â* She then asks the lady in waiting for her own name.Â* Gurna ready introduces herself.Â* There is a spark of recognition on Pirena’s face when she hears the name of her old nanny.

Marketplace

Banak and Nakba are up to no good again.Â* They decide to steal from a stall while Nakba distracts the female merchant attending it.Â* A little while later Raquim closely followed by Hagorn enters the same marketplace.Â* The sapirian is telling his friend of how he dreamed of the men they killed, and how it kept him from getting anymore sleep.Â* Hagorn tells his friend that he should forget of what happened and that it is something that they need not talk about again ever.

As the two princes gloomily stand face to face Banak purposefully bumps into Hagorn and steals his money purse.Â* At the same moment Nakba performs the same maneuver on Raquim and grabs the prince’s magical staff.Â* But the royals immediately notice that they have been robbed and pursue the thieves who try to make a run for it.


Adjantao Village

Amihan begins to stir as sparks fall around her and Alena.Â* It becomes apparent that Memen has been using his magic to revive the two young Diwatas.Â* As they wake Alena immediately recognizes the queen’s husband.Â* Memen seems a bit shocked that the children seem to know him.Â* Then a very pregnant Ornia walks in with food for the two girls.Â* She notices that they are starring at her pregnant stomach.Â* She then happily informs the two that she is expecting to deliver their baby very soon. Memen tells the girls that they are in Adjantao.Â* He then asks them for their names,

Marketplace

Neither Banak nor Nakba get very far as they are suddenly confronted by Victu, the captain of the palace guard.Â* Confronted with Etherian soldiers the thieves beg for their lives.Â* They even have enough gall to lie to the soldiers and say that the princes’ are their friends; it was all just a big joke.Â* Of course Hagorn doesn’t go along with the ruse, but Raquim does.Â* In doing so he is able to save the two thieves from being punished by the palace soldiers.

Yet it would seem that coming after petty thieves was not the reason Victu has come to the marketplace.Â* He starts to drop hints at the two princes’ that he already knows what they have done.Â* He tells them that he is actually after the men who killed his soldiers and that a Heran was able to see who culprits were.Â* He further tells the princes’ that he even knows their names.Â* He does this in an accusing and threatening posture.Â* But the two princes’ are tight lipped; they are not going to confess to this crime.

Pirena: “Ikaw si Gurna?�
(You are Gurna?)

When the lady in waiting confirms that she is Gurna Pirena decides to confirm with finality that the woman was her former nanny.Â* She asks her if she is the same Gurna who is half Diwata and half Hathor.Â* This question has a visible impact on the dama; she reacts by asking the child how she found out about her. That piece of information that the child asked her was a secret she shared with no one other than the princess.Â* Pirena is quick to save her own skin by telling her former nanny that she learned the information from overhearing some of the guards talking.

Pirena: “Mine-a, sinong Mine-a?�
(Mine-a, who is Mine-a?)

Gurna: “Siya ang anak ng reyna ng Etheria, si Mine-a�
(She is the daughter of the queen of Etheria, that’s Mine-a)

Marketplace

After Victu and the soldiers leave Hagorn is visible concerned that the captain of the guards knows what they have done.Â* Raquim feels that Victu may not know anything; he may have just been fishing for information, trying to get a reaction out of them.Â* So they plan to meet up that evening by the magical waters of the mystic stream of truth.Â* That way they can ask the waters if they have truly been discovered and the extent of the soldier’s knowledge.

Adjantao Village

Alena is quick to give him false names.Â* The heran then comments that the girls have beautiful names.Â* This then leads to the question of what they are to name their own soon to be born baby.Â* Ornia begins thinking that they should name the baby after a relative, but Amihan is quick to suggest the name Cassiopeia.

Both father and mother agree that it is a beautiful name for their baby.Â* Then Ornia suddenly realizes that the sisters informed her before that she would name her child Cassiopeia.Â* In seeking an explanation Memen supposes that perhaps the sisters did have the power to see the future, and that is how they knew that this would happen. Suddenly Ornia squints with pain on her face, Memen asks her what is wrong.Â* She then informs him that the time has come for her to deliver their child.

Hera Andal Garden

A guard approaches Danaya as she is watering the plants.Â* He tells the young diwata that she is taking too long and should hurry with her task.Â* As the guard leaves Danaya alone again it is obvious that the diwata is annoyed at what just happened.Â* Then Pirena returns and calls Danaya’s attention.Â* She then tells her young sister that she has found their mother.Â* The youngest of the sisters is definitely excited and happy to learn that news.Â* She asks Pirena who it may be, and she is informed that it is none other than the princess.

Danay suddenly realizes that this may have been the reason why she felt so at ease with the queen’s daughter.Â* All the time it was because she was speaking with her mother.Â* But it also raises some questions.Â* What is their mother doing in Etheria, and why do the Etherians believe that she is from Etheria as well.Â* Is it possible that there is another Mine-a?

Marketplace

The guards that Mine-a sent to look for the two other girls are asking the merchants for information about the children.Â* Odessa overhears the questions that the two are posing to the merchants.Â* She decides to find out why they are looking for the kids.Â* The guards are surprised to find her at the marketplace, but they give her all the information she wishes to know.Â* She then informs the men that she found two young diwatas in the forest the previous evening and has taken them to adjantao.Â* Upon learning of this the guards head towards the village of the adjantao in search for the diwatas.

Adjantao Village

A girl comes running out of Memen and Ornia’s tent, she heads straight for the Adjantao leader to tell him that Ornia is giving birth.Â* The leader is happy to learn of this and sends the girl and a few others to fetch Evades.Â* Once they leave he tells another one of his people that the prophesy is finally coming true, the saviour of the Diwatas is about to be born in Adjantao.Â* But unknown to any in the village there are Etherian soldiers hidden in the woods, and they overheard what was said.

The Forest

Raquim is looking for Hagorn in the forest near the mystic stream of truth.Â* He is suddenly confronted by a veiled diwata who holds him at sword point. (of course we all know the diwata is Mine-a, with her mom’s Kabilan to boot)

Hera Andal Palace

Avria is praying at Ether’s altar when Victu arrives with the news about Memen and Ornia.Â* He tells the queen that they have finally found the couple’s whereabouts.Â* The queen seems pleased and angry at the same time.Â* She tells Victu that he knows what to do.Â* With this the captain calls upon his soldiers to follow him for an attack on the Adjantao village.

Adjantao Village

Memen is at Ornia’s side as she gives birth to their daughter.Â* She is obviously in a lot of pain, but Memen tries to give her encouragement and help her through the birth.

Outside Hera Andal

Amihan and Alena have successfully teleported to the outskirts of the Etherian capital.Â* They immediately head for Hera Andal to search for their sisters.Â* But as they approach the citadel they are confronted by some guards.Â* At this point Alena wants to use her voice to try and escape, but Amihan stops her.Â* They must not let the Etherians know that they still have some powers left to oppose them.Â* And so the two are taken by the guards to the Etherian prison.

Adjantao Village

Memen is thanking the adjantao for hiding them.Â* While they are talking Evades tells him to hurry because he feels that they are not safe.Â* As Memen closes his statements and the four prepare to leave a hidden Etherian archer fires on Memen from the forest.Â* He successfully hits the run away heran in the abdomen.Â* Memen walls to the ground, but he is not dead.Â* He successfully pulls out the arrow.Â* Just then Victu and his soldiers arrive and he orders his men to capture all the encantos there.Â* The Adjantaos prepare for battle; it would seem that they are not going down without a fight.
