just to set the records straight, it is not only in the Philippines where fraternity violence is prevalent. this is not because of the "attitude" that most of society easily blame of, but simply because of different idealogies clashing.

history of AKP and Tau Gamma:

back in the early 90s, one Tau Gamma sophomore fell in love with an AKP senior. both hid their love affair from their respective fraternities, because they both belonged to different fraternities.

there is an unwritten rule within fraternal orders that they have to keep their "love" within their group. to go to another fraternity for some "man-love" is looked down upon--this is the reason one joins a fraternity.

to continue with the story... as most homosexual love affairs go, the two "fraternal" lovers became enemies overnight. they fought, scratching each other and spitting. eventually, they convince the others from their respective fraternies to join the cat fight that is common among homosexuals.

to this day the big cat fight continues between AKP and Tau Gamma.

FALSE as it is but a very nice composition, I may say. This theory of yours will only confuse a lot of unknowing persons or perhaps members of both groups who don't even know when/where/what is the root of conflict between the two groups.

How come I know a lot of people coming from the opposing groups mentioned here that are best of lovers The Man is from AKP and the Woman is from Tau Gamma.

If you have more believable story/theory that this...why don't you share it with us. Maybe you'll become a writer someday. No offense but, your story is too damn lame. Try harder next time.

WHERE DID YOU EVER GET THIS STORY? FROM THE TABLOIDS? You have a very creative imagination, I give you that.

But as I have said before, it has something to do with the founders. To avoid provocation, it would be much better that hopefully an AKP will truthfully answer this.

too much prejudice?!?!? we've seen to much fraternity related violence....unsa diay ninyo gusto na kung mag pinatyanay mo diha, amo lang na e tolerate? maayo unta kung walay ma damay...ug maayo unta kung mga pinatyanay mo anha mo sa reclemation area...nya tawagon dayon ninyo na to much prejudice...lol pareho ra gud na sa kanta sa parokya ni edgar na chocolatte.

i was replying in response to the previous post regarding a Scintilla Juris fratman, accused wrongly for murdering a Sigma Rho fratman, who spent years in prison but later granted freedom after being found innocent.

most of society condemn fraternities collectively without looking a little bit deeper at the organizations and seeing individuals with different capabilities. when people hear the word fraternity, what goes straight into their minds are the horrible things that they hear and give a big deal about. that's the prejudice (and a great deal of stereotyping) that i'm talking about.

it is true that frat wars are a threat to peace; everyone agrees to that. just to make things clear, no fratman has ever posted in this forum that the worsening drama be tolerated. everyone has had too much of violence, frat related or not!
