maybe the Philippines will be rich again by being invaded by the Japanese or the US again.

The US did not invade the Philippines. The Japanese invaded the Philippines in 1941, and US forces joined with Filipino forces to repel the invasion. Almost 14,000 American soldiers were killed, and close to 50,000 were wounded in the fighting.
