Why do our minds RESIST yet our hearts INSIST?

GOOD day fellow istoryans....

Would you agree that the greatest battle in life is no other than the battle of our own self...
We oftenly experienced this kind of situition especially when LOVE is concern... Why does our mind tell us to break up but our heart says hold on? why does our mind says its crazy but our hearts says it the most right thing in world..?

I challenge you fellow istoryans to post all your experiences in where you struggled so much on which to follow? is it what your mind SAYS or is it what your heart SHOUTS?

it is common sense in my situation right now that this is so wrong....but it feels too right..i want to be with him so bad but i am even so scared to give him a hug now , coz it feels like im being electricuted...seriously now i know what it feels like to even touch a fingertip of somebody who has a sign all over saying "BAWAL"

mura naa nako idea sa imo situition.... well... its just like determining which has more weight the heart of the mind... mind was placed above the heart not to over rule the heart but just for man to use the mind wiser than the heart.. heart was created below its not because heart has a less power than mind but contrary to is sometimes heart ruled the mans life... heart was created below to neautralized the overpowering of the mind... the buttom line is, we must determine the effect to us and to other if we use either one of them..

We always do foolish things when we are in love...The mind is defeated with what the heart dictates, there are even instances that lovers become violent just for the sake of what we call love.It can kill people, delude the mind from what is right or wrong. am not sure if there is any logic that can explain this. perhaps it's a mistery, that makes love interesting...
