    Default I Feng Shui'ed my New Room

    Today, Saturday (April 11, 2009) I transferred to a new room located at the 3rd floor. My previous room was horrible for the month of April simply because the T/B of the 3rd floor starts to leak and half of my room (the only big room in the building) is useless. Have to put 3 containers when it starts to leak.

    The management of the building has a hard time solving this problem because it will surely take some time to overhaul the affected area. Weeks ago, I asked the management as to when room 307 will be vacated. “We have no idea,” said the caretaker. So what I did, I dream of transferring this new room as soon as possible and did some short visualization. Alas, it was Friday morning (after my shift) when I heard a knock on my door and I saw the caretaker informing me that room 3007 is already vacant. I asked why, he said “the previous tenants just want to transfer to a new location.” Amazing! LOL.

    So before transferring all my stuffs, I visited my new room (307) and assess where to put my working table and my bed. I asked my messenger to put the table here and my bed there. Too tired, I asked my messenger to finish some stuffs and I will take care of the rest. We ended at 2PM and I slept right away, trying to recharge. I woke up past 6PM, and continue transferring some small stuff including my DSL modem and laptop. Plugged in to the Internet to check my email and downloaded the PDF file of my 8 Mansions Feng Shui Reading (and Personal Kua Number) given by my Private Feng Shui Consultant / Mentor. Upon reading these 8 pages of Feng Shui Report, I was surprised that my working table is in the exact and correct location where it should be placed according to my Personal Kua Number – Northwest! Whoaaaaaaaaaa! (technically speaking, I bought my personal compass)

    Best Compass Directions:
    Success = North West
    Health = South West
    Love = North East
    Personal Growth = West

    Things that I need to put in my NW or West are some lucky bamboo sticks or horse tails. If you noticed my door is facing to the adjacent door / room. I need to buy and put some stuffs (wind chimes, horsetail, lucky bamboo, mirror, fountain) to deflect or lessen the negative chi flowing from that direction and especially that my room is next to a condemned T / B. Also, to encourage a good flow of chi.

    It’s always a good idea to “clear the air” when moving into a space where other people have lived before you. Some quick and easy ways to do this is include sweeping out the entire space (while you do this, hold in your mind the strong intention to sweep up and remove any stale or negative energy).

    Since this is my new room I need to set another schedule to do a formal space clearing ceremony to remove old or negative energy from the space. This can be very intense energy work with the use of some visualization technique. I will use again the same expensive incense I used in our office. I bought this from a local shop here in Cebu not a department store.

    I remember a year ago when I did some IT assessment in University of Southern Philippines, Apas, Lahug, Cebu City. Upon entering the room of the School President I was set aback and noticed that there is a strong energy inside her room. I scanned the area (of course with my own eyes! LOL) from left to right and every details of her room is Feng Shui’ed. I can easily spot it correctly because the arrangement is correct from tables, sofa, decors, and lucky bamboo to name a few. After the interview, I went outside and talked to her secretary. After a short chitchat with her secretary she told me that it’s true that their School President is a Feng Shui Practitioner. Humbly speaking, as a newbie I always join any Feng Shui Audit with my mentor within the city.

    Always remember that Feng Shui is a tool for helping us achieve greater success, prosperity, and self-actualization (of course prayers as well). It is rarely effective when applied as a quick cure-all in hopes that inner work and personal development will not be required.

    Retrospect
    This is a small room, so the monthly rental is lesser than the bigger room I occupied before. I’m contented with the space and size of the room. Feng Shui for a small space is usually a challenge. That is why the first two things I did are to place my working table and my bed in the right “command position.” As a busy man, I normally do my office work, in my room (small office) and coordinate with my partner and our employees virtually over the Internet. But of course, I do visit them from time to time when the need for a physical meeting is highly important.

    My online HR friend joked at me and said “You need to start living in a condo.” What for? LOL

    As I was having some recollection weeks ago, my dream of reducing all my monthly expenses has come to realize. I don’t know if it’s a work of my visualization but according to my esoteric friends, “there’s no such thing as coincidence.” I need to reduce my monthly expenses one of which is my monthly rental of my room so that once I’m a regular employee in my current job at the IT Park, I will start investing on a real-estate and that is to purchase a land in Ormoc City.

    All the best and more blessings for 2009 and beyond. Thanks for the graces.

    I don't know if it's a mere luck after I moved to a new room last Saturday of April 11, 2009.

    This time, at around 1PM of April 13, 2009 (13 is my lucky number) .....I was informed to call our client for formally closing the deal. Guess what? Contract signing for a bigggggggg project this coming weekend. Cool! Again, is it something to do with Feng Shui? How I positioned my working table? Good proposal? Good skill sets?

    I thank the universe for the blessings! More blessings for 2009 and beyond!

    Yehey!!!!!!!!!!!
