Vista also has DX9, Proper implementation of DX10 is lighter than DX9.

then what is proper? where is that link that says its lighter? when i say dx9 is lighter, it means old GPU can handle it, means u get high fps, though not appreciating more details. i know u know this, dont u?

I dont really see harddrive space as an issue with the prices of todays 320/500/1TB drives.

Most people who say here that Vista doesn't compare to Windows XP needs to try out Vista for a significant amount of time or upgrade your 5-year old system. Huwata nalang kaha ang Windows 7. I've been on it since the first beta and I haven't looked back since.

Mas maayo vista... make sure lang 2GB up imo RAM sa imo LAPTOP... Im using VISTA more than a year na with 2GB RAM and 2.6 P4 proc... mas better cya compare sa XP labi na sa PATCHING sa update...

tried xp, vista and w7. bro, if u're to ask me, vista ko, and stated na ako reason ani. if vista certified imo laptop, then go for vista. w7 is nice but because beta pa man siya, i wont suggest it. u will have problem installing some softwares gyud, and if ma-install, uban dili modagan. driver-related problems sad naa pud.

The latest build is pretty good as what ive been hearing, some guys have shifted to W7 as a main OS even if its still beta, now those guys are hardcore!

w7, using it on my laptop now, single OS, so far so good, i would say some improvements from vista really. maybe just plain luck lng gyud cguro for others who were able to install softwares. though developers really are catching up with updates and support for w7. for me, its a way to go, but then again, its always a matter of personal choice and risks to play with..

my amd machine is on XP sp3. And I'm making $10 per hour with this machine.. and still can't buy a $600 Vista Ultimate.. LOL
