    If the eye is unobstructed
    the result is sight
    if the ear is unobstructed
    the result is hearing
    if the nose is unobstructed
the result is a sense of smell
    if the mouth is unobstructed
the result is a sense of taste
    if the mind is unobstructed
    the result is wisdom

Wisdom occurs when you drop barriers you have erected through your concepts & conditionings

    Abiding priniple in man?

    PARINIRVANA SUTRA KUAN XXXIX-

Says Buddha, "you have to get rid entirely of all the subjects of impermanence composing the body that your body should become permanent.
The permanent never merges w/ the impermenent although the TWO ARE ONE.
But it is only when all outward appearances are gone that there is left that one principle of life w/c exists independently of all external phenomena.
    It is the fire that burns in the eternal light, when the fuel is expended & the flame is extinguished;
for that fire is neither in the flame nor in the fuel, nor yet inside either of the two but above beneath & everywhere.

Buddhism does not accept a theory of God, or a creator. According to Buddhism, one's own actions are the creator, ultimately. Some people say that, from a certain angle, Buddhism is not a religion but rather a science of mind.

    CONCEPT OF GOD & SIN

According to buddhism, the belief in the forgiveness of sins by a supernatural being is not justifiable,
the effects of certain evil deeds that we have committed can only be overcome by increasing our meritorious deeds & maintaining healthy, pure minds.
This cannot be done merely praying to anybody.

    Confience & a Religious life

Buddhism teaches that a truly religious life is one based on moral discipline & mental training & not through mere faith or praying to external powers.
A religious man is one who contributes to the PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE among beings & practises, GOODWILL, COMPASSION, HARMONY & UNDERSTANDING.
The duty of religion is to train the HUMAN MIND to achieve this end & to guide humanity towards spiritual development, a noble attainment sadly lacking humankind today.
