i don't eat pungko² for hygienic reasons and it has that distinct smell that I don't understand. one can't get diseases from the saw² double-dipping alone, it is also from how the food was prepared. just remember that when you get most of these dieases it can't be cured anymore. the risk is there and its a dear price to pay. i always tell my friends to be sure to make the sign of the cross before eating there, hehe!! don't get me wrong, i eat budget foods but i carefully select them not just to get a cheap, fast & heavy filling.

i used to eat fishballs & tempura too from cart vendors but not anymore. i dunno why... ...maybe i evolved or something. i would like to think it's a good thing.
