korek ka bai marsy. daghan man gud ga tuo nga pareho rag pricing ang zebra bisan unsa pa na nga mutation. But I believe, giving them some insights will help them understand. Its like the DOMINANT Pieds of African lovebirds2. It is classified hi mutation na, so taas ang price, starting 5K & up compared to nornal ALBs2 pastels and greens nga mapalit lang for about 500 pesos only.

Anyway, for those Finch lovers up there, lets continue our passion of breeding finches specially high mutations kay dili kabayran ato lingaw ani nga hobby...

I have good news, I produce 3 OBBB isabel na. Parehas jud sa kang ARCHER. Very fulfilling kay nag worth ang ako effort sa pag breed ani. It took me more than a year until I produce those mutation. I will post some pix soon...BTW, I also produce 2 youngs from my German Jumbo BB cock X OBBB Jumbo hen. Tagsa nya ta ato...hehehehehe.

But unfortunately, I only saw 2 chicks and all the other 4 eggs wala na. What happened to the 2 eggs or chicks? Bisan asa nako pangita sa nestbox nila wala man gyud ko makit an didto. Seeking your advice lang mga finch masters...
Let me try answering your question, bro Janmarco.
Naay batasan ang zebs in feather plucking. Maybe the cage is too small for them, or they are forcibly paired, or they lack protein to their bodies (feather is a rich in protein). Usually, I always give fresh seeds everyday, set up your cage at least 3 perches, mas daghan d better. Observe them in their next nestlings, if mao lang gihapon, try to find another partner kay seems dili sila compatible or sometimes they are still young pa. Recommended age is at least 8 months up.

Most inexperienced pair don’t know how to feed their chicks. But they will learn that in their next clutches. Put fresh eggfood and always replenish it daily. These will encourage them to eat and feed their chicks.

Most inexperienced pair tosses their chicks out from their nest when they feel their chick is weak or sick. Lizard or small mice eats dead chicks that is why wala nimo makita kung asa na ang missing chicks.

Patience lang gamay Bro. Keep on breeding! Good luck...

Sirs Matty/Marsy, i also have the same experience with buyers of my English Budgies although it is more on the quality. Buyers would compare my price which is a little bit higher against a number of breeders and I'll just tell them that I bought my original breeders (when their still young) almost 300% more than the price I'm selling their produce and the quality of my EBs can be shown especially last year when I won Grand Slam 1st, 2nd, 3rd in EB and the most coveted Best In Show with my Lacewing EB. If they cannot afford my price they can buy wherever they want. I noticed that if a buyer knows the quality and/or mutation of the bird they are buying then at the end they will still go for it

Hope i could also have hi mute zebras from your stock
