PGMA has ordered the transfer of the AFP Cent Com headquarters from Cebu City to Lapu-Lapu City in Mactan Island ato pang Aug. 3, 2007!!! It's almost 2 yrs na since PGMA gave that order!

This transfer of the military headquarters is seen also to pave the way for Capitol to recover the land that is presently being occupied by Centcom in barangay Apas.

and do u even know why it has to be transferred and who originally made the suggestion?

it was AFP chief of staff Hermogenes Esperon, who recommended that the Centcom headquarters be transferred to Mactan because of its strategic location.

Mactan Island was chosen as the site for the Centcom, because command centers have to be as close as possible to the metropolis.

op kors, we cannot always discount the political color involved. but the intentions of the transfer is valid and very reasonable enough...any level-minded and thinking person would too. otherwise, the order could not have come from the President herself!

mo apil gyud cla sa SRP coz they think the Cebu Province has the right to look for good and viable investments there, op kors. mura man sab tag just now wui.

sama ra gud na sa Cebu Business Park ug Asiatown IT Park. sama ra gud na sa Ciudad project. of kors, all of these are owned by the province (some in joint venture w/ Ayala) while the SRP is solely owned by the city. But let's take note that investments for SRP is an open bid. it was just in the later part that the Council decided not to include the Province as it is not a private entity. if im not mistaken, the debates are still ongoing whether the CPVDC could still join the bidding.

call that sourgraping but there is a positive outcome about this: It gives the people the sense in the right to know about the "real" FLI transaction. The people have a right to unveil the cloak covering the FLI deal as a means of clamor for gov't transparency.

Karon lang gani nag mandar na si Mike nga pa review ug balik ang mga provisions sa agreement sa FLI so they can better answer it during the congressional hearing. Now tell me especially the thread starter, kinsa man ron ang way labot sa SRP? I myself as a taxpayer if I'm convinced that the transaction is disadvantageous to the city can be capable of suing the city hall officials in my private capacity. Ang congress pa kaha nga gamhanan sad na sila. Bi kinsa man kunong lubot karon nga di na kalingkud kay gikuyaw kuyawan na? We know that this is motivated by politics but if the end result will straiten out wrongdoings if there is, I would congratulate Pablo John. I don't care ug magbugno na sila diha. CICC overpricing - a hearsay. besides, she gave proper acctg na to COA (AND EVEN TO THE MEDIA) and they didn't find anything wrong.
Lamp post scandal - a hearsay. besides, kinsa may klaro gyud nga na kasohan beh? aw cla ang angay ibutang sa limelight, not garcia.
