Congratulations Mr. Leo Lastimosa! What I heard from my ' inner circle' of friends in & out of politics is that he is very deserving not only because he is a very good newscaster and commentator & because he does research. As of today- we haven't heard of him receiving bribe money from politicians, businessmen & the like. A lot of people tried but to no avail. He is not for sale and cannot be bought. So correct me if I'm wrong but that is my perception of him. Unlike some other people in the media we know. Unless proven otherwise, I will remain a fan of his.
I saw Mr. Lastimosa in person for the very 1st time having dinner in BTC a couple of days ago - and my 1st impression is that he looks much better in person than on tv. I never fail to listen to his radio & tv program whenever I'm in Cebu. He reminds me of the late Atty. Migs Enriquez.
And pls. guys, whether a person is gay or not is beside the point. If a person is good at what he does- gay or not gay- he deserves to be congratulated. After all, he is Pinoy. And he is one of us. Let's discuss real issues people not homosexuality which is OT here.
Kudos and more power to you again, Mr. Lastimosa. Hoping to meet you personally in the near future. You deserve all the awards and more. Ignore the criticisms that have come your way and will continue coming because these are just done to sidetrack you in your journey to greater heights & glory.
