problem with dvd player and tv.

i just bought a new dvd player. when i tried to watch movies, they all appeared to be black and white with no sound. i'm not good with these kind of stuffs so i don't really know what to do. any help guys?

check the cables. basin wrong set up ra na.. did u try using the dvd player at store before nimu gipalit ? aron sure na 100% mugana ba.

yup moplay sya sa store. they even use various dvds to check it out but when i used it at home, it didn't go well.

try to check your dvd player's system settings.. select NTSC if it was set in PAL...

done that. kung pal sya kay lighter ang color sa screen. kung auto or ntsc darker. pero black and white gihapon. i've tried exchanging wires and the screen turns out to be blue then red and still no sound.

thanks for the responses guys. i really couldn't figure it out so i went back to the store and told them my prob. it's fixed now.
