If you like to play love songs you must learn how to bend notes or get as many harp keys as you can get a Chromatic harp. Diatonic harp is also ok but may limit your choices of songs. Love songs usually sound better played first poisition.(Ask luthienne or serpentboy)

Thats why one needs to learn at least three positions of playing. Because each note will have a different tonality even if they have the same pitch when played from different key harps.

I urge everyALL nga tun-an ang 12 bar blues structure para maka jam ta ug dali. The diatonic is great for blues harp playing. I know that probabaly what is happening here is 90 % pop harp hehehe. I like playing pop too but( believe me )studying the blues structure will also help our pop (love songs and such) harp playing. Grrr.

Those into (solo) pop harmonica playing:
start saving money for a Chromatic harp it will give you extreme flexibility on what you can play. China made ones are approx 1500pesos and hohner chromos start at around 3500pesos up to a gazillion clams. hehehe. It takes some time to learn but once you lear the basics the fun begins. It is readily available online.
