guys, need your input. setting up the pc of my gf's kid brother and ran into some problems. we installed a new vcard (Inno3D Geforce 9500 GT) for his pc pero when i try to connect the monitor cable to the card's vga input, wala cyay display. i can hear the normal boot up beeps pero wa jud mugawas sa monitor. i tried the TV out, it shows up sa TV but after installing the drivers di na musud sa Windows. his board has onboard video. everytime i try switching back to the onboard with the vcard still in, di sad cya mudisplay but if i take the card out mu display ang onboard video sa monitor. i havent tried using a dvi to vga adapter (given the vcard has 1 tv out, 1 vga and 1 dvi) pero when i tried the vcard on my pc ok man cya. im stumped. fairly recent tech man ang board. specs are below. would appreciate it if naa moi mga input, thanx daan.

Try kono bro e disable ang onboard video sa BIOS before attaching the vc. If im not mistaken, nid pa nmo e disable ang onboard video para mo gana ang vc.

already tried that. and still nothing. should i update the bios? also, ang vga cable niya is missing one pin. would that create problems? but mu work man sa onboard, sa vcard dili. taud2x na sad ang monitor, old crt model 1024x768 max res

missing pin error shud be visible in monitor color display bro. sakit sa mata ang color kay dili balance.


but kana onboard | discreet card switching error is in the bios.

although different ta ug board - asrock p4 - 845based igp tu sya. same gyud nga sakit.

until ako gi flash ang bios niya with an updated one.

mao ni imo gi post... try kuno ug press F8 then enable vga mode basin wala pa ka support.... try lang.....

if musud ni sa windows using the discreet card. go to right desktop > properties > settings > advance > monitor > screen refresh rate ( saying ur monitor is kinda old ) > set it to 60 -75hz > hide modes that this monitor cannot display > ok > ok > restart

if error lang ghapon..> try kuno ug press F8 then enable vga mode > control panel > add remove progams > remove Nvidia drivers > restrt

> download newest driver > install > restart

> if error lang ghapon > try another newer higher end monitor > ok na?
