Mao bitaw si Gwen gi tawag ug "QUEEN of DARKNESS" ni TOMAS kay iya gud ang probinsya sa Sugbu.

unsay point ani diri??

Ako pa ni Tita Gwen, to erase all doubts she will just drop it altogether and move on and concentrate on REAL projects IN the provinces.
LOGIC: Gwen always brag wala'y utang ang province. I don't know if that is a good thing. For me, kung wala'y utang ang capitol with the state of the province, IMPOSSIBLE nga di magka-utang utang ang capitol and that goes for ALL the capitols nationwide.
If I were her, she will stop all that baloney because if one does the math, it does not make any logical sense.
Ngiga gud niya, dako man gani ug utang ang National Government sa IMF unya ang kapitolyo sa Cebu wala'y utang? ngano kaha? probably because wala gigasto ang kwarta to alleviate the province or income generating iyang projects? somehow i find the latter, not believable for logical reasons.
Even with a ballpark guesstimate, the expense of the construction of the CICC is not equitable to the finished project. it does not take an architect, civil engineer, property manager or a developer to know this.
yes, it is open to scrutiny, in terms of papers and documents. but hey, they are in power right now, so they can easily be the master of charlatans coz for me and other "informed" people in cebu society, she is just that.

naay unod imong statements...if ang credibility sa Sun.Star atong hisgotan, kng way credibility, then hagbay ra unta nawa ang Sun.Star. in fact, Sun.Star Cebu (and Superbalita) has enjoyed readership for years (if not decades) already...better than the CDN and Freeman combined.
sakto. sour-graping ra gyud na.
let's say credible ang sun star but they are still easy or even mum on some garcia issues.
LOGIC: here's the bottomline, they own it, so there is no argument about this. mura man sad ta ug mga gamay'ng bata diri nga na-tawo ra gahapon.
OT: who originally owned sun star?
mao na imo opinion ky u have a certain strong bias against Gwen (and the Garcias) in the first place. No matter what positive growth and dev't Cebu has gained from her admin, u cannot see it that way.
WHY CEBU IS NO. 1
Cebu is number one because of good fiscal management: it ranks highest among the country’s provinces in terms of assets and cash in bank.
(do u even know what fiscal management is? do u own a business pre even a sari2x store?)
Most importantly, Cebu ranks number one because of the current unity that has never before been seen in any province: unity among elected officials, unity among business groups, unity among its people, and unity between the private and public sectors.(well, except w/ Cebu City)
Cebu’s weather promises to be good for business because typhoon activities are minor and rainfall is evenly distributed throughout the year. Moreover, the island is not located within any earthquake belt, there is no known active volcano and its international airport has been large enough to connect the island to several continents.
Its public administrators have been known to be development-oriented, steering Cebu to greater heights by putting in place infrastructure facilities needed for economic growth.
Cebu has at least nine economic zones that offer to cut bureaucratic red tape by providing a much easier system for investors, plus incentives.
Overall, Cebu continues to excel and investors are drawn to Cebu because of the culture of professionalism and craftsmanship among its people, the vast highly skilled manpower resources resilient amid trying times, its fair weather, relative peace and business-friendly atmosphere.
