    If no religion, still we can be rational as human.. naa mantay sense of right or wrong, reasoning.
    mo follow lang ta sa ato conscience, driving force sa atong existence. mas maayo paman gani ang reasoning kaysa religion nga gitudlo, makalibog.

    I agree bro. But isn't the belief that there is no God an important aspect of Communism?

    I think that we don't have no imagine what the world might be like without religion. The events of recent decades in China and Russia for instance give us a picture of what that world might look like. So, yes, the dark ages were indeed very dark, not because of religion itself but because of its misuse.

    Even if we do away with religion, the world will still be very dark because there's something inherently wrong with our nature. Religion, and I mean the Christian worldview, proposes answers to those problems.

    what motivates man to believe in something like God/religion?

    - is it the promise of an afterlife?
    - is it because, having a father figure is kind of comforting?
