Yahoo mail in MSOutlook & Outlook Express: Error (0x800CCCF4)

Need your help on this issue.Â* I attempted to integrate my globelines account in MSOutlook and Outlook Express.Â* When I run send receive, the following error occurs:

Task 'http://<webmail server>: Folder: Inbox Synchronizing headers.' reported error (0x800CCCF4): 'An unknown error has occured. Please save any existing work and restart the program.'

Those who have come across this problem and those who are maintaining mail servers, any ideas?

POP3 access in Yahoo! Mail is only available to Yahoo! Plus users. Free accounts do not have access to Yahoo! Mail thru POP.

bro, are you referring to the POP3 account. If so did you double check the smtp/pop mail servers? or call technical support bro, for the configuration on POP3 account. Globe does not provide a configuration accessing webmail through Outlook.

save yourself from using POP3 on Yahoo! Mail and switch to Gmail.

I know POP3 wont work for sure. The error that i posted was from Outlook HTTP account after the sending process. Outlook could contact the server during sending but has this error prior to receiving mail from the <webmail server>.

I also tested the account using IMAP. Outlook couldn't find the server at all.

it worked before around 2002 then later mga 2nd quarter at that
year yahoo will start billing so i guess poldopunk is right

save yourself from using POP3 on Yahoo! Mail and switch to Gmail.

stick to gmail bai. it'll save you a lot of trouble.
