Mga Bro. I am new in this forum... Naa ko problema I have this SATA 80 GB hard disk unya naa didto ako OS then I want to use my IDE HD 80 GB pero back up storage lang siyapara sa ako uban nga mga files, ang nahitabo is bisan e slave nako or e master and IDE still mo boot ragihapon sa IDE mo display siya ug disk boot error. Unsaon nako ni para mo boot siya properly sa SATA nga HD nako which is tua didto ang OS? Please help me.

I already tried changing the boot priority wala man gihapon disk read error occur man ang mo appear. Ako ge change ang boot priority di man siya ma change muuna man jud gihapon ang IDE. Kani nga IDE hard disk kay gikuha ko mani sa external type nga hard disk then ako ge direct sa IDE kay guba naman iya circuit board.

i think ok rani siya, IDE and sata in one board... if dili ghapon mo work bisag gichange na ang boot priority, look for an option in bios nga mag select or HDD priority.. my mobo has one... gi prioritise nako ang sata over ide, it solve akong prob nga ing ani b4... i'll give you screen shot when i got home..sata and IDE is not compatible to each other due to its speed processes

Dark raven ang option sa ako BIOS di man ma change Ako na jud ge change priority ang boot priority pero dia ma change mo una man jud ang IDE nga HDD nganu ing ani mani? Kani man gud nga hard disk is western digital external HDD ni but then ako ge dis mantle kay nadaot man iya circuitry so gekuha nako ang HDD gesuwayan nako sa amo usa ka pc nga IDE ra pwede man siya ma slave pero ug ako gani gamiton as master then install ug OS mu black ra ang screen unya naay mga colored letters mao ra di mo continue ug install

Bro, try looking for the HARD DRIVE sub-menu under the BOOT menu sa imo BIOS. When you go inside, manipulate the setting na ma 1st or on top ang SATA hard drive nimo. Hope this solves your problem. Originally Posted by Fernandocruz
