this is a stupid question, but what if istorya.net is real-time. like, you don't have to click or check your thread anymore to see if you have a reply on your thread? it's just automatic... like facebook kinda thing.
is this possible? or is there even such a thing? hmmmm.... not a computer geek here. hehe...

You can keep daydreaming. If you want chat, there is IRC.
It was a big choice to allow an AJAX chat box, that is not going to carry over to threads.

What you are envisioning is called IRC + logging. You are envisioning without thought of the technical and aesthetic aspects of implementing it.
