Well, there is no specific answer to this kind of question. Who are we to know, though. Come what may.

When we die:
Our soul will return to God, wherever He is in the universe.
Then our soul will be "processed".
Our soul is like a tape that records all the things we did in our life.
God then decides if we are to be rewarded or punished.

If we passed and accomplished our mission.
God will reward our soul and provide us with wisdom and additional talent as reward.
Our soul then levels up.
Then He sends our soul back for another mission, another life.
The we reincarnate to a new body.
It does not necessarily have to be on Earth.

But if we failed. Or we fall short of our mission.
Or we did bad in the previous life.Or we abused our life.
We get punished and we live a life of consequence.
Most disabled people are living a life of consequence.
