Suggestioin lang ha......pero why don't you open the side panel of your case and then point the electric fan there as a stop gap measure.

same proce ta bai, katong stock hsf nako kai around 40-42c ang idle nako,. taronga lang jud wires nimo aron sakto ang intake. pila mai temps ana inig load na? if dli kaabot 75 above ok rana oi

i dunno about core2duo's but in my p4, fan rpm(auto) is hovering around 4k +.

Also, paliti ug cooler bay. 3k budget pwede na para ma-solve ang temperature problems nimo.
