of course that depends.. if you go the ENTRY level creative soundcards.. you can buy soun blaster live 5.1 for Php1.7k,

audigy cost around 2.7k
audigy II cost around 3k and UP!

thats what i did with my audio setup. cost higher HOWEVER, no regrets.. kaw na lang magsasawa sa lakas ng tunog at sa reklamo ng neighbors mo.

an audigy soundcard "theather grade" then match it up with the following:

acs 451(black) -> http://imall.ntu.edu.sg/pic/ACS45.1.jpg

2 x 12' kicker subwoofers(driven by local sakura amplifier).

being an audiophile myself.. that is far better than a logitech z-6XX top of the line setup.

bitaw, wat is HPTC? anyway i have a built-in soundcard on altec atp3 okies raman. dili ko impressed sa dagway sa creative gud. naa bai altec na 7.1?
kay akong usbon akong set-up.
