Just an update to their status....wala pa gihapon nibalik akong kauban sa balay sa iyang misis kay ang mama mubabag. Even communication sa telephone bawal, worst case is that ang mama iyang gi-threaten akong kauban bahin sa annulment ug telling him regarding sa capabilities sa ilang family nga ipatumba siya.

Ang misis is 22yrs old and still under parent's consent diay during their marriage sa akong kauban then now ang parents na pud nangusog nga pa-annul kay daghan daw sila relatives nga lawyers.

I say this is just plain stupidity regarding sa mama interfering sa decisions sa couples.

    Living with in laws

The worse case scenario nga muuban ka ug puyo sa mga inlaws: ang relationship nimo sa imong spouse maguba due to their interference (which would result to break-up kung grabe gyud).

Kung duna man gani gamay nga argument sa couples (which is natural), ang parents mulaban gyud sa ilang anak unconditionally or in other words (bias).

I saw a certain religious program before sa TV (I think it was "Itanong mo kay Soriano"), He preached that if there are two head of the household living in a single roof (for example the father inlaw and the husband of their daughter), it will always result to clashes.

Your decisions will be overshadowed by the inlaws and eventually you'll going to lose your backbone.

Panalagsaon ra kaayo nga maayo ang relation sa parents inlaws to their son/daughter inlaws.

No matter what angle we see, technically speaking laing tawo gihapon ta sa mga inlaws.

But then if you decide to live with them, better abide to their rules "no questions asked" kay ila nang teritoryo.

Me - Not at all.

LOLz.

How about you? Any good or bad experiences you can share?

ok i agree but i think there are exemptions.Luoy man pud akong mother in law kay 1 nalang xa, tapos, 1 nalang sad iya anak, ako sad kay 1 ra. We are staying in 1 house, me, my husband, baby girl, mother in law, 1 helper and yaya...I think ok ra if ani ang situation.
