i really like what you said here. that if one was too familiar with the harsh realities of life, one would probably be jaded.

i don't hate the life i had to live but if my parents didn't tell me too much about the expenses in the house, their problems with their career, money and marriage, i think i would've lived a happier childhood. as far as i remember, i always knew how much my mom spends for groceries and pays for the electric bills. she'd have to nag before bringing us to school each morning. hehehe...

i wonder if i turned out better if i met "life" at a later age than 6.
