to amingb: sorry but i think this thought has been surpassed by Vatican Council II ... it is just so sad that there are still preachers out there who would play on this "outdated" thinking (and there are others too) ... it used to be the thought but, not anymore ... please check your resources on this opinion of yours ... we are now in the 2nd millenium, let us deal on things that unite us and be brother s and sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ, than fighting it out and destroying each other, and make ourselves the amusement of others ...

the vatican has caused many deaths because of its dogmatic teachings. and when it does decide to change a few things (maybe because they realized it's wrong or obsolete), all they're gonna say is "We're sorry."
