the 4670 is actually the best bang for buck out there, id recommend a 4670 to anyone but i cannot believe how unlucky i have to have 2 dead ones

your 8800gt should be better than the 4670, so i dont understand how you could be loosing out, could be because of shader processors? ATI always has way more shader processors on their cards.

Bro, you need not justify your purchase towards me, fact is that the 4670 is possibly slower than both 3850 and 9600GT w/c is ranked by both sides is more than proof enough for me, the reviews i see are just gravy. The 8800GT was not giving me the smooth framerates i desire so i upgraded. If the 4670 is giving you what you need then good for you, i actually envy those kinds of smoothness perception since i wont have to upgrade graphics cards so often.

Fallout, no surprise there almost any midrange modern day card can max this baby out but it cant maintain 59-60fps at any given time with 1650x1080 full details.
Their crysis video is staggering, still not the alleged 1650x1050 but you did make an exception this video is disregarded.

All of your posted vids are not 1680x1050, they are only at 1280x1024 big difference in performance and most of them are not even close to 60fps avg, GoW and assasins creed being the most obvious.

Shader power is only a fraction of the whole performance chain, i am not losing out i just have a difference perception of smooth gameplay.

Just to make it clear im not rubbing it in that my current videocard is faster, im just trying to define my own definition of smooth and i hope you dont take any offense in this discussion.

Yup, i have mine running at 720(core)/1566(shader)/2700(mem)

Overclocking is purely random bro, you may get a card that does 750mhz core and you may get a card that does not move 25mhz more, i think you can unlink ATI via rivatuner.

what video card do you have now? fraps slows everything down, except fear2 which really surprised me!

empire total war is justified on 1680x1050 xD

i feel i should defend the 4670 performance as it hasnt let me down and im sure it hasnt let anyone down, its really a card taken for granted and everyone is looking for an affordable solution, and with experience i believe a 4670 regardless of rank and reviews will play everything and anything at the max settings, except for what ive mentioned, crysis gtaIV and now to the list empire total war.

mga sir, kahibaw mo what is the reason for the ATI Driver, ati2dvg to crash?
mao na siya nag error nga mogawas after the 4-6th vpu error;

"display driver ati2dvg has stopped responding, your system needs to reboot"

any solution, other than costumer support?

unusual FPS lage na for that card...what game(s) are you running that card with at that reso? e.lower sad nang AA ug AF hehehe. IMHO overkill ra kaau kung e.on nimu tnan quality options, unless you're a graphics whore. I always turn off VSync in every game.

thats wrong, vsync off would give you more screen tearing and AA and AF off would make the game edges jagged, if you have a good card max it out.

well forums like this.. the only solution they always say is "update driver" or "update CCC", pulos na nako nabuhat, others also said, its the hardware and the driver's compatability.. ang-ang man sad mogamit ko ug driver sa nvidia
